The new Czech football promotion project commemorates football history.
On October 1, 2021, in Mikulášovice, the first limited edition of 300 Mikulášovice knives was presented under the common name:
- FOOTBALL LEGENDS.
The face of the inaugural series is the former Czech footballer and national team member Lumír "Máňa" Mistr.
The second knife of this series is produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces. The knife represents Jan Berger, who in his rich football career became a national team player, Olympian, and Czechoslovak Footballer of the Year 1984. He also holds several titles with various clubs.
The front side of the new knife features a photograph of the player from his most successful 1980s. The back side of the knife depicts a football stadium with the name Jan Berger and the Czech flag symbolizing Mr. Berger's national team period.
Each knife comes with a certificate of authenticity bearing a serial number and Jan Berger’s handwritten signature. The same serial number is also engraved on the blade of the knife.
The knife is equipped with:
- a large blade,
- a small blade,
- a can opener,
- a bottle opener with a wire stripper notch,
- a reamer,
- a corkscrew,
- a key ring.
Each knife is delivered in a gift tin box.
The blade is made of high-quality stainless steel 420 with a hardness of 52-55 HRc. The elegant handle scale is made of durable plastic.
