LIST Black Ball Chain
LIST ball chain is an original accessory designed for the LIST knife. The chain is made of very high-quality stainless steel with a black surface finish. The length of the steel ball chain is 70 cm and the thickness is 2.4 mm.
Key features:
- Safety lock - The most important feature of the ball chain is its safety function. The design of the ball joints is engineered to break under a sudden jerk or if caught on an obstacle (e.g., a branch in the forest), preventing strangulation of the user, which is a real risk with paracord cords (which have extreme tensile strength).
- Corrosion resistance - Since a knife worn around the neck often comes into contact with sweat or moisture under clothing, the chain is made from stainless steel. It does not rust, does not lose its black finish, and does not cause allergic reactions on the skin.
- Easy length adjustment - If the chain is too long for the user, it can be easily shortened with ordinary wire cutters (or strong scissors). Simply cut off the excess piece and snap the connector onto the end ball.
How to use with the LIST knife:
- Threading through the sheath - The chain is threaded through the holes in the Kydex sheath (or plastic sheath) of the LIST knife.
- Wearing - The knife hangs with the handle down. Thanks to the friction-fit sheath, the knife does not fall out, but it can be drawn immediately with a strong pull.
- Combination - The chain is thin enough to be unobtrusive under a T-shirt and keeps the knife in "concealed carry" mode.
Maintenance:
- The chain requires practically no maintenance. In case of heavy contamination, simply wash it with soapy water and dry it. It is recommended to occasionally check the strength of the connector to prevent accidental loss of the knife.
