RESCUE 248-NG-5 Rescue knife is the new improved series of the RESCUE rescue knife with automatic opening. The knife is designed for professional and civilian rescue use.

The blade of the knife with a serrated edge and a curved tip is made of stainless steel 420 with a hardness of 52-55 HRc. It is intended for cutting seat belts, straps, fabrics, plastic cable ties, cables, rubber hoses, hemp and nylon ropes, etc. The blade opens by a freely movable lever, which allows opening even with heavy gloves.
The handle scales are made of rubber, are orange in color and marked with the red inscription RESCUE. The advantage of the handle scale material is its flexibility and durability, which protects the knife against damage.
The knife features LED signaling with the most accessible USB-C charging. The LED signaling in the handle scale is one of the biggest advantages of the knife. Attaching the knife to clothing in low visibility areas enables tracking your movement. The glowing (blinking) handle scale also minimizes the risk of losing the knife.
For breaking car glass, the knife is equipped with a replaceable glass breaker tip attached to an OTF knife and hardened to 48 HRc. The OTF knife is replaceable and each user can easily exchange it with the glass breaker themselves. Before removing the glass breaker, it is necessary to remove the ring from the back of the knife.
The saw with a liner lock is used for cutting laminated glass on the front and rear windows of vehicles. The saw opens by catching its extended end, for example, on clothing. When cutting laminated glass, the glass breaker first makes a hole through which the saw is inserted and then cuts out the desired opening.
The knife also includes a slotted screwdriver with 8 mm and 10 mm hex drives, which is useful for opening distribution boxes, disconnecting car batteries, dismantling attached cables, tightening hoses, and similar tasks. For safer operation, this function is also equipped with a liner lock.
The knife concept is designed for quick and safe work during traffic accidents, intervention actions, and evacuations.
