Mikov Rescue Knives
Mikov rescue knives are key equipment for emergency response services (rescuers, paramedics, firefighters) and, at the same time, a useful safety item for everyday drivers and travellers. They are designed with an emphasis on immediate help during accidents and other emergencies, when every second counts: quickly freeing a person from a seat belt, breaking glass, or cutting through clothing or fabric. Thought-through ergonomics and functional tooling keep the knife firmly under control even in a stressful situation.
Mikov RESCUE knife models
This category features the RESCUE series in several configurations. The RESCUE 246-NH-2 is a 2-piece model with a core set of rescue functions. The RESCUE 246-NH-3 (3-piece) and RESCUE 246-NH-4 (4-piece) progressively expand the tooling for more demanding scenarios. The updated RESCUE II 248-NG-5 is a modern solution for professional use. The brand's wider range is gathered in the Mikov knives section.
What a rescue knife can do
A knife like this combines several emergency functions in one compact body. The seatbelt cutter (a hook-shaped blade) lets you quickly cut through a seat belt without injuring the person; the pointed glass breaker shatters a car's side window for evacuation; and the main blade, often with a serrated section, handles straps, fabric, and other materials. That is why a rescue knife is best kept within easy reach in the car, in your work kit, or in an emergency set.
