Product Description FINGER knife - 2nd Infantry Company of the 44th Light Motorized Battalion Jindřichův Hradec FINGER Knife This is a combat knife model specific to the 2nd Infantry Company of the 44th Light Motorized Battalion of the Army of the Czech Republic based in Jindřichův Hradec. Its history began in 2014 when it replaced a prototype knife with a blade shape designed to resemble the profile of the Pandur vehicle. The name FINGER was intentionally chosen based on the unit's combat activities, which focus primarily on strikes against the enemy in a "show and destroy" manner. Structurally, the FINGER knife is designed as a full tang with a dagger-shaped blade, double-edged with a slightly raised tip. The handle is designed to allow all types of grips. The Kydex sheath, in which the knife is firmly fixed, can be attached to a tactical belt or any part of the gear. The blade is made of Böhler N690 steel, which is among the notable knife steels with excellent cutting ability and resistance to damage and corrosion. The guaranteed hardness is 57-60 HRc. The handle is made of black G-10 material. It originated from the initiative of the battalion's command and cooperation with its members. The knife was modeled after the already established Finger knife used by the 2nd Motorized Company of the 44th Light Motorized Battalion. The knife design was developed based on the unit's requirements. The authors involved in its design were Chief Engineer Vratislav Hejna and Major Engineer Roman Hippík. All prototypical development and production of the knife were carried out by Mikov s.r.o. The knife is constructed as an integral fixed blade knife. The ergonomic olive green handle with gripping enhancements allows great versatility in handling during work and combat activities.
