PATRON Kydex sheath is a professional sheath specially designed for the PATRON knife, emphasizing maximum durability, safety, and rapid drawing. Kydex (hardened thermoplastic) provides uncompromising protection for the knife in extreme conditions where conventional leather or textile sheaths fail.
Main advantages:
1. Self-locking construction (Tactical Lock)
- The sheath utilizes the natural elasticity of the material to firmly grip the knife.
- The knife does not rattle in the sheath and will not fall out even when inverted or during parachute jumps.
- A sharp pull releases the knife, reducing reaction time in critical situations.
2. Extreme material resistance
- Frost and heat resistance: Kydex maintains its properties at subzero temperatures as well as under direct sunlight.
- Chemical stability: Resistant to oils, sweat, saltwater, and common chemicals.
- Easy maintenance: When soiled (mud, blood), simply rinse the sheath under water and let it dry.
3. Attachment versatility
- The sheath is surrounded by a series of standardized 6.3 mm diameter holes (for rivets/screws), compatible with most carrying systems:
- Tek-Lok: For quick attachment to a belt (vertically and horizontally).
- UltiClip: For concealed carry without needing a belt.
- MOLLE system: For mounting on tactical vests or backpacks.
