FALCO A is a combat knife associated with the 102nd Reconnaissance Battalion of the Army of the Czech Republic. The combat knife designated 1-F-97 Falco is intended exclusively for members of the 102nd Reconnaissance Battalion and the rescue and airborne training section. Since 2000, the knife has been registered as an industrial design and is protected by patent number 30217. In 2003, it became part of the symbolism of the 102nd Reconnaissance Battalion.

The blade of the series A, B, D, Z combat knife bears the inscription SPEM RETINE! (Hope!), which initiates the motivational motto SPES UNA HOMINEM NEC MORTE RELINQUIT (Only hope does not abandon a man even at the moment of death). The blade of the series C combat knife is inscribed with the motto WHERE OTHERS END WE CONTINUE. The knife design was created by Ing. Roman Hippík. Since 2020, Mikov s.r.o. has been the sole manufacturer of this combat knife.

The blade is made of Böhler N690 stainless steel, which is a prominent knife steel known for excellent sharpness retention and resistance to damage and corrosion. The guaranteed hardness is 57-60 HRc. The handle consists of oval leather rings and has a pommel with a hole for a lanyard.
