The history of MPS is inextricably linked with Martin Pott - the founder, CEO and owner of the firm. Martin Pott is the inspiration behind all new projects implemented by the company. When Martin Pott Saegen (MPS) was founded in 1987, Martin Pott strove to offer customers the highest quality and therefore most efficient sawing tools. Together with his creative, constantly growing team, he managed to bring his ideas to life. Today MPS is a brand of an innovative company - one of the leading European manufacturers in the development and implementation of saw technologies in production, successfully operating in all world markets. MPS takes pride in the fact that the goal it proclaimed in its early years remains unchanged.
The main stages of the company's development:
- 1987: Foundation of Martin Pott Saegen in Remscheid.
- 1995: The manufacturer Manfred Henscheid joins the company as a co-owner.
- 1997: Move to a new building in Wasserlich (near Trier).
- 1998: Opening of our own product design and testing department.
- 2002: Martin Pott becomes the sole owner of the firm.
- 2004-2007: Investment in a new logistics center, expansion of the administrative building and workshops.
MPS's strategy is to maintain production in Germany and to comply with the "Made in Germany" standard - today, tomorrow, and always, since Germany has everything you need to produce products of consistently high quality. The company also constantly seeks and finds the most modern solutions for everything related to manufacturing methods or the products themselves.
One of the secrets to MPS's success says: "We focus our efforts on what we do best, which is the saw." The materials and production methods used meet the highest requirements. For production, steel is used, produced only in Germany, Austria and Sweden, using MPS's own patented laser technology.
