FINGER Knife

This is a combat knife model specific to the 2nd Infantry Company of the 44th Light Motorized Battalion of the Army of the Czech Republic based in Jindřichův Hradec. Its history began in 2014 when it replaced a prototype knife with a blade shape designed to resemble the profile of the Pandur vehicle. The name FINGER was intentionally chosen based on the unit's combat activities, which focus primarily on strikes against the enemy in a "show and destroy" manner.

Structurally, the FINGER knife is designed as a full tang with a dagger-shaped blade, double-edged with a slightly raised tip. The handle is designed to allow all types of grips. The Kydex sheath, in which the knife is firmly fixed, can be attached to a tactical belt or any part of the gear.

The blade is made of Böhler N690 steel, which is among the notable knife steels with excellent cutting ability and resistance to damage and corrosion. The guaranteed hardness is 57-60 HRc. The handle is made of black G-10 material.

The knife is autographed by Major Roman Hippík, and until 2019 it was manufactured by Maďarič. Since 2020, the sole manufacturer of the FINGER knife is Mikov s.r.o., which also produces the Javelin unit knife, derived from the FINGER knife. Each knife is made with a high degree of handcrafted work and undergoes individual inspection. Mikov guarantees a 7-year warranty, which does not cover normal wear and tear or defects. The knife is not intended for the general public.
