Description:
The Hunting dagger series 398 LES is manufactured in two blade widths: type A (narrower blade) and type B (wider blade). The blade, fittings, saw, and pick are made from PMC 27 damascus steel with a hardness of 57-60 HRc. The blade spine is gently tapered towards the point, and two-thirds of the blade length is ground. The classic curvature of the blade towards the spine side facilitates cutting with the knife tip. The blade steel runs through the entire handle. The guard's protrusion before the handle scales is supplemented with an additional fitting made of solid steel, partly extending into the handle. This provides the index finger a stable support and clear feedback on knife handling. The handle scales are made from buffalo horn. The Hunting dagger LES is generally supplied with a leather sheath.
